NEXT MEETING:

Author Talk - Debi Evans

21st April 2021

7.30pm on Zoom

Debi is an author, originally from Caterham; having grown up on the Hill. She went to Hillcroft school (Caterham Hill Infants and Juniors in those days) and De Stafford. She will join us to talk about her book series, The Secret Adventures of Rolo, about her Jack Russell who time travels. Having been Rescued from Dog's Trust, Rolo discovers a secret life beyond anything he could have imagined, when he is told by a tree dragon that he is 'the chosen one'. Unsure at first what that means, Rolo discovers he can take part in events in history, without his owner's knowledge. Where will his secret adventures take him next and what surprises will be lurking around the corner? Enjoyed by 6-90 year olds, Rolo's secret adventures provide an ideal way to encourage children to enjoy chapter books interwoven with history. Adults relish the humour and history, especially if they are dog owners. The 'voice' of the narrator is Rolo's.
